This innovative, conventional flue gas fire has a higher efficiency compared to standard open-fronted fires can reach an energy efficiency of up to 68.3%. The Flavel Decadence Plus gas fire provides the look and feel of a real open fire providing both radiant and convected heat. Radiant heat is emitted from the coal effect fuel bed and the convected heat is generated by cool air drawn into the base of the fire which passes through a heat exchanger and is then emitted as warm air though the gap above the canopy.
Available with a choice of alluring fascia in polished brass, polished silver or black nickel finish, this beautiful inset gas fire is designed for installation into either Class 1 or Class 2 flues as long as there's adequate space behind to recess the fires 170mm (6¾") inset depth. The coal effect fuel bed produces a lovely glow with dancing flames and up to 4.2kW of heat that will create a lovely, cosy atmosphere in any room.
The standard Decadence Plus incorporates manual controls at the base of the fire. Simply move the fret drawer to access the control and ignition. To save bending down to the bottom of the fire, there is a Slide Control upgrade available that comprises of a lever on the top, right hand side of the fires trim which when held down ignites the fire and lifting up and down adjusts the flame height/heat output. For the ultimate in convenience, a fully automatic Remote Control model is also available.
